Meet Dr. Kaplan
Eric Kaplan, DC, DACNB, FACFN, FABVR, FABCDD is an open, eager, enthusiastic teacher and student of the world of health and wellness. Dr. Kaplan has impressive academic credentials. He received a B.S. in Human Biology at Emory University and a D.C. from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. In addition, he is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, with over 1,500 hours of post graduate studies at The Carrick Institute, including specialty courses such as Movement Disorders, Vestibular Rehabilitation and Childhood Developmental Delays. His latest accomplishment is completing two Fellowships via the American College of Functional Neurology and now is Board Certified Functional Neurologist and a Fellow of the American Board of Vestibular Rehabiliation. Being trained in dozens of chiropractic and neurology techniques, he has the ability to treat many different types of patients.
Meet Dr. Venable
Taronté E. Venable, DC, DACNB, CES, PES is a passionate practitioner of alternative medicine with the ultimate goal throughout treatment to treat the ailment and the root cause of the problem by discovering what predisposed the body to the injury. This involves treating the body as a whole and not focusing solely on it’s individual parts.
As a chiropractor, he practices diversified adjusting techniques with knowledge and experience of how to appropriately utilize functional neurology, functional movement patterns, corrective/performance exercise, resistance bands, kettle bells, tool-assisted soft tissue, manual soft tissue, pin and stretch techniques, myofascial release, nerve flossing, performance taping, PIR, flexion distraction, ultrasound, electric stimulus, cold laser, shockwave, hot packs and cold packs.
Dr. Venable aspired to be a physical therapist shadowing physical therapy physicians in 2008 to 2009 while completing his undergraduate studies. After graduation he immediately began working as a personal trainer, Maryland state certified chiropractic assistant and rehabilitation specialist at an out-patient physical therapy and chiropractic practice from 2009 to 2012. At the same time, Dr. Venable also worked as a physical therapy technician at an in-patient hospital from 2009 to 2012 as he learned about both acute and chronic care in both facilities and was first exposed to stroke patients. After completing his graduate studies, he moved to New York to begin his career as an associate and has since been successfully treating patients with spinal, extremity and neurological conditions.
